WuXi Biologics built its first production plant outside China in Ireland. The plant is 48,000M2 and is set to become the world’s largest single-use biologics manufacturing facility.

Lilly IE42, Cork

Dornan won the electrical, instrumentation and HVAC hook-up contract for this new production facility at Lilly’s Kinsale site. Our work on this project won us Lilly’s ‘Global Contractor of the Year Award’ in 2009 – the first time the award had been made to a contractor outside the USA.

MSD Vaccines, Carlow

Carlow is a state-of-the-art, 200,000ft2 human vaccines facility, where Dornan was commissioned to install new mechanical infrastructure in the Vaccine Fill-Finish Facility.

Lilly IE28, Cork

Dornan completed the biotech lab fit-out of Lilly’s two-storey IE28 building, with laboratories, offices and support rooms, with all utilities to be tied into existing services. The mechanical systems were planned, coordinated, installed, tested, commissioned and documented to enable the client to fully validate the facility.

Lilly IE43 Plant, Cork

Dornan was commissioned to fit out a new three-storey manufacturing facility to increase capacity, connected to the existing warehouse at Level 1.

MSD Oss, Netherlands

MSD operates a major plant at Oss in the Netherlands. Dornan was commissioned to work on the project to increase production capacity of the Implanon NXT and NuvaRing contraceptive products at the existing site, which involved relocating some manufacturing processes.
